Powers Presents to Area Business Owners
Doylestown, Pa. (October 2006) Laura Powers, owner
of Harvest Graphics, presented “Web Site Strategies” at October’s
Bucks County Women’s Business Forum. Ms. Powers, an award-winning
print and Web designer, educated approximately 40 women business owners
on how to increase the value of their businesses through effective
Web site strategies.
“Increasingly, potential customers conduct online research before
doing business with companies. By having a site that targets your
market and provides them with the information they are looking for,
you will be able to increase sales, increase the value of your business,
and increase your bottom line,” stated Powers.
Ms. Powers also discussed:
* Design tactics for Web sites that work.
* The most effective way to setup your Web site’s underlying structure
to maximize search engine results.
* The best ways to structure the content of your site to reach your
target audience.
Ms. Powers is the owner of the marketing agency Harvest Graphics,
located in Doylestown. Harvest Graphics provides advertising programs,
website development, identity creation, and creative graphic design.
Their knowledge of how design components fit within a client’s entire
marketing program allows the company to customize print and web materials
within a client’s specific target market. Harvest Graphics previously
won four 2003-2004 Golden Web Awards from the International Association
of Web Masters and Designers (I.A.W.M.D.) for its work on four Web
sites. This prestigious award is given to the "Best of Breed" in the
global, web-design marketplace. |
